One thing to keep in mind that many tuners overlook - you are after drivability, NOT maximum horsepower. There is a difference, and tuners often sacrifice idle and drivability when chasing high horsepower.

The coupes died at the hand of Ford. They didn't want Shelby outdoing them and required that he focus all his attention on their GT40 program. A couple of races featured GT40s and coupes in the same race, but there wasn't enough manpower to run both teams.

It's interesting how the price of built cars is climbing. Maybe finally truly showing how much these things cost to build. However, we need to remember that the true value of a vehicle is not what the owner is asking, but what the buyer is willing to pay. And a 'No Sale' indicates overpricing...
