At last nights meeting, we introduced the Spring Cruise. The concept is to cruise late April/Early May depending on weather and have it be a 2-3 day cruise thru Southern Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and/or Kentucky. It would be an overnight cruise, driving for a dayor two, staying at a motel/hotel then returning.

In the mentioned areas, it requires a longer drive time to get to acceptable cruise routes. This creates issues with how long we plan for, do we stay out one night or two?

Please indicate your preferences in the poll above.

Thanks

Your talking about cruising in the cars, spending the night or 2 somewhere, then cruising home (no trailers)?
I'm IN for that! I'll drag Ann and her shoes along too! (she can bring whatever fits in the truck!)

Correct - No Trailers. Did you mean 'fits in the Trunk'?

Mark, you didn't indicate your preferences in the poll

I'm in a bit of a bind on this one. At work we're under the gun to deliver something by March 1st and then April 1st. I'm also waiting on new sidepipes for the car, so I'm just going to have to see where I fit in based on the dates.

Bringing this back to the top with a little more information

1) I am leaning towards a 'One Night Out' in hopes of getting some new attendees. Tentative leave early Saturday morning from the JB Bridge area and return late afternoon Sunday for an 'Event Gathering' at Hofbrauhaus in Belleville. We would spend the evening somewhere in Kentucky or Indiana.

2) Trying to figure out the best time to do this, I am leaning towards late May as the weather becomes a little more predictable. It would be helpful if everyone would post any weekends between May 13,14 and June 3,4 that you WOULD NOT be available to cruise. (Easier to plan around bad dates than to try and figure out the best time on multiple calendars that you don't have access to.)
