My personal wrap up - The car had zero engine issues, no tire rubs, and no overheating. The transmission, however, is a different story. I've been having issues getting 2nd gear. Either I shift to 2nd, let out on the clutch, and no gear only to push the clutch in and grind it in to 2nd. That happened several times. There seems to be a lot of slop in the transmission contributing to my shifting noises and the KER in the kerplunk I'm getting. Thinking that will need to be serviced. Also, I attempted a cluth adjustment, Friday, but, there is nothing to adjust on the cable, so, will need to get that rectified at some point as well as service the clutch when I pull the transmission. The carb still needs a good tune as it stumbles on takeoff and dies under hard braking. After this weekend, I'm at a "meh" on the brake upgrade I did. True Manual brakes, they stop and do the job, but, it's work. For the money spent, I'm less than impressed with the results.

As for the roads/trip - they were great and not heavily travelled. As usual, we had to travel some split 4 lane to get to the good roads. Other than the heat, a perfect trip. Hotel was great, cruise pace was great and great company. Hoping that we can actuall do more of these as it really works well with a busy schedule that we have. Hope more can join next time!
