For those that don't spend a lot of time on the Factory Five forums, I thought I'd share a bit on how my Coupe build is going. I received the kit near the end of June last year. I wanted to do a retirement project to try to stay busy in my early retirement. I decided to build the Coupe as a slightly modern version of the classic car. I opted for the IRS setup and a Gen4 Coyote for the drive train. I'm also taking a couple of minor departures from the standard kit with a few components, including Dakota Digital VXH-1060 gauges, Sparco racing seats, power windows, and Wilwood electric parking brake to name a few. The color theme will be a charcoal gray paint with red Wilwood calipers on the exterior and black with red accents on the interior. Since the car was delivered in June, I've fitted and drilled all the aluminum panels and had them powder coated in two different colors; a nickel gray for the engine compartment and satin black for the rest. I've completed all the suspension, steering, brakes, fuel lines, and some of the aluminum panels are installed. I'm currently working through organizing the electrical components and wiring. Here are a few progress pictures:

Next, my custom two-piece forged wheels are on the way. Here is a picture of one of my actual wheels that they sent me today:

I ordered a set of unique tail lights from thepitstop.online along with a pre-formed suede headliner.

My FormaCars power windows were delivered last week. I had them do a red top stitch on the top portion of the door panels.

Finally, I ordered the new carbon fiber dash for the Coupe from Factory Five.

Lots of non-standard items going in this car that should make it very unique when finished.

Wait, the valve stems are on the inside of the rim??
But everything looks great. :D
Rich,
It looks like there is a front side stem as well. Look closely at the bolt hole at the 6:00 position. I've had other wheels that had both front and rear stems.

Dave, I have never seen a rim with front & back stems, interesting.
I see it now that you pointed it out. :)
