Who is into Biking?

Great job!

I put in my 20 miles on the Katy today, so I was right there with ya. Hopefully another 20 tomorrow.

Understand Terry's issue, butt cramps are always the limiting factor for me also

C:cool::cool:L. Ter & I plan on doing 20 or more tomorrow before the lammies get slaughtered. BTW I didn't think cramps would be a problem for you anymore after you already went through menopause! :D:eek::D:p

Ter & I did the River Road today. Started at Piasa Bird Parking Lot to Elsah & back. Did approx. 20 miles. Loved it. However, I would not recommend the River Road, due to the danger of driving along the shoulder most of the way & road noise. BTW If anyone does it do NOT start @ Piasa Bird Lot, start @ Cliffton Terrace instead due to poor conditions before Ciffton Terrace.

Didn't get out today as planned, so you beat me in mileage Dave. Hockey practice at 8a followed by a coaching clinic that lasted until 2p, then on to a picnic. Looks like I'll be doing doing an hour of "kick my tail" plyometrics this evening

OK I'll bite. Care to elaborate what the heck you're talkin about? Of course you're being silly, I know that much, (what else is new:D), but how bout speakin some English knucklehead. :D:p;)

I'm not kidding. Plyometrics is a "movement" based training system. Jumping, leaping, and explosive movements from side to side / front to back / up and down, only using your body weight. It is a bear to say the least and I am literally gassed after 1 hour....but it is the best aerobic workout on the planet. If you want to find out more, I'll describe / demonstrate next time we get together. I'll do this once or twice a week combined with a bike ride/hockey and 2-3 weight training days.....all about an hour a day 6 days a week.

My extra sick mind was going in the wrong direction there for a minute & then when you said: "If you want to find out more, I'll..." I realized you are serious for once in your life. :D:p:rolleyes:

Done. Perfect weather for a ride. Funny thing...I got the speedo working on the car, now the one on the bike doesn't work :o Got it working again toward the end of the ride. Go figure.

Yes...it was that bad. First time the team played together, we played a team a skill level above us. The only good news is the score was 0-0 after the 1st. Bad news is they had alot more and we still had 0 at the end of the game. Next game is Tuesday night.
