Great to see you guys today. Sorry I couldn't take the roadster out to join you, but you saw the BB Chevy motor I had in the garage. We got it torn down and the problem figured out. I think we will have it together for the guys to still have some boating later this season!

Impromptu runs are always great and it's fun to catch folks off guard. Cool comment Skip and your new front end work looks great! From what I saw on the Big boat motor (only saw one head off), my guess is intake gaskets, how'd I do?. Sorry we missed Tim and Clyde & Tom but it was great to see Alex and family again.

You guessed it right. As soon as we pulled the intake, I told him thats where the problem had been. I did know that he overheated it once, and he was really concerned about the headgaskets.
On boats, since they are so hard to work on, once it's out, do it all.
So we are going to go through it and do some re-fresh and replace all the gaskets and drop it back in.
It's had some good work done to it. All Hi-Po lower end, crank rods and pistons. I've been on the boat and it flies!
Enjoyed the visit!
