This was not a GCC cruise but 2 good friends with convertables took a 200+ cruise yesterday.
Lunch at Giant City State Park Lodge...family style with chicken, mashed potato's,and all the fixings. Went up the observation tower(86 steps) and looked out over a beautiful landscape.
Went west to rt 3 and across the Trail of Tears. Then along Skyline drive for some more fantastic views of the ridges, valleys and forest of SI.
Then on to Alto Pass for root beer floats at Mikes pub.
Stopped at Benton for dinner at Applebees.
Great day, great comraderie and super cars.
Car #1 1989 Mercedes 560SL
Car #2 1956 Corvette(guy has had it since HS)
