Scott's Build Party - BACK ON !

Scott, depends how my tomorrow goes. I'm taking off tomorrow and going to try and button my engine back up. If that goes well, I will be there in the morning.

Sorry Scotty Kitchen project just came up for tomorrow can't make it anyway. :(

is that a honey dooo David u know those honey dooo's always will keep a smile on the wife's face...........then there's a movie and dinner:rolleyes:
sorry again Scott hope u get er fired up, remember check the oil, and pressure;)

Thanks! Sounds like Dan and Tim for sure. Invite is still open (sorry for the double change of plans this week).

If you have never experienced and Architects punch list...your in for a treat ;)

I'm missing one critical component (the proper serpentine belt length) and three easily obtainable items (oil, coolant and gas) for a first start...

But my list is long and since your fresh off of dash electrical maybe we can bang out the items I didn't finish?

I would also like to fit and attach the body as this is the biggest issue with our garage right now.

Pizza okay for everyone coming? Want anything to drink besides beer and water (is there anything else)?

Scott

Pizza sounds great. I think Tom is planning on coming, I have his speed bleeders that I will be bringing.

I bought oil and antifreeze for mine today too. Need any particular tools?

I believe earlier in the post he was asking for a racing jack and extra cordless drills and batteries. I'm bring my cordless. Can you bring your jack? Hopefully we won't have to bring snow shovels.

Yep, can bring my jack. Maybe we can fix it too  It does work, but has a slow bleed/leak to it not sure why. Oh yeah, and the video camera too.

punch list smunchlist ,,u no what i mean Vern!!

Thanks!

Thanks again Buddies!

What a group of guys...we didn't get it started, but we did make it look like a C***a today!

I want to thank everyone for taking time out of your Saturday to come wrench and do the guy thing in my garage. Hope your cuts heal Tim...

Nice to see one of the new guys show up to - Mark P. (MPTech). And we dragged Randy H. out of the boonies and from working on his Unique! And even the Pres. showed up (no not O.) to work the drill. Dan...ah, Tim is blaming all of the scratches on my roll bars on you since you took off early. Tom - thanks for the masterful layout on the cooling hoses. Looks great.

Well, who wants to see some pictures? I didn't take too many, busy working, surpervising, and cooking hamburgers.

Hey - get to work!

Hey if anyone else has some pics...post away (hint, hint MPTech - if you need advice on posting photos let us know)

Just need to finish up the electrical system, get the belt (we got a measurement), replace two sensors for the gauges, get the right hose for the puke tank, add oil, coolant, gas, cross fingers and pray for a first start!

Thanks again!

Was fun, gave me a chance to see how the body goes back on before doing mine. Thanks again for cooking.

Thanks for lunch Scott and Michelle.
Let's get that car running.
Great build !

Idea - tape off some stripes, give Liam a scratch pad and let him sand in some stripes, and you'll see what black with dark gray stripes looks like ! OK - just an idea.

Scott the car looks great, although I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to hear it. It was a fun day. Thanks again for the burger and beer.

Hey Scott, really enjoyed helping you on the project, I learned a ton! And great hanging with the guys for awhile. The 4.6 looks gorgeous in there, I'm still deciding on the engine (the wiring still looks intimidating), but that looks so cool.

Here's what I snapped, I can burn 'em to CD and get 'em to you at the next meeting.
