Removed other thread about Sunday, looks like tomorrow is the pick day. I need some miles on the car after getting it back from Frank yesterday, so, want to meet for breakfast? Donuts ok? Meeting spot I'm thinking will be Dunkin Donuts on Clarkson at 9am(?) Later?

Yep sounds good, can we go earlier? 30 min ride to donut shop...? Who’s all gonna go?

I am on clean up duty at my house for the early morning, but I should, at the very least, be able to meet up at Dairy Delight! All are welcome at my house after. BTW, I better see a handful of Brain Sandwiches at Dairy Delight!

No on the earlier....at least for me. If you want to, go ahead. I'll see you there at 9ish.

I also told Tim, if you guys are still around at 2PM, there is a classic car cruise in at the large parking lot at I44 and Hwy100 across from Phillips66/Burger King

Kidding....9ish is good....past Chesterfield Mall ... how far past mall, on the right side...?

Enjoy Mark! Dunkin Donuts is on Clarkson right before Clayton. Rich riding with me, be there at 9:15am

Didn't take pictures, but one:

Day started great with a few of us stopping for Donuts at Dunkin' Donuts before heading out. We ran down through Eureka where a certain Red Corvette joined us before heading on down to Hillsboro, Desoto, Bonne Terre, and meeting Randy in Potosi for lunch. It became apparent we needed to head North quickly to stay dry. Our Hwy 185 drive was slowed by, of course, a Harley (hate them almost as much as a bicyle on a narrow road). So, we turned off at Hwy K to ditch the Harley and have some fun! When we stopped in St Clair, we knew we needed to get on the interstate and make tracks to stay ahead of the storms. Which we did, but, Rich and I got drenched in Chesterfield. Nothing to do but keep driving, but, we did duck in to a gas station until the rain stopped. Drove on home, and setup fans. Will probably be Tuesday before the interior is dried, but, all's good, it's just water.

The reason for the drive? I needed some break in miles on the engine after getting my car back from the shop. Car ran great with some hiccups in the upper RPM range, which, may have been my rusty shifting skills. On the plus side, got nearly 15 mpg due to a leaner tune which, also cured my "dieseling"/run on problem. So, very happy with the results from Franjo!

Great ride with Paul, Rich, Bob and Mark with a short drive including Keith. Thanks for being my escorts guys in case of problems :D

Yeah, good time!

Funniest line of the day was at lunch at Dairy Queen talking to that Old Man that came by to ask about the cars, and Mark said "YOU'RE NOT WITH THE POLICE, ARE YOU?" :D

Sorry I didn't make run seeing you went to Potosi, you know that's my home town. Not sorry I missed the rain. Glad your car is up and running Tim, now for Rich's.
