These are the best prices I have seen this year or last year...!

$265 Cheaper than what I paid... and I used a $100 off coupon code.

https://www.quickjack.com/

These prices are ONLY good from Oct 30th to Nov 2nd...!

I have been using my BL5000SLX now for a month and love it.
So far...I have rotated tires...fixed an exhaust shield rattle...replaced a CV axle...changed oil and filter...found a loose suspension shield that was making noise...and adjusted the emergency brake.
I will be rotating tires, changing oil and filter next week on the Genesis Coupe and Cherokee.

There have been no downsides...other than the 76 lb weight when moving each frame rail around on concrete.
They are designed not to slide around on the floor when they have a car in place...but that makes them hard to position even by themselves as the entire bottom rail is making contact with the floor surface.
That moving around has also removed several contact points of powder coating. A nice improvement would be the addition of strategically located GS Nylatron pads on the bottom surfaces. But....those would then become a hazard if trying to lift on a surface, not perfectly level....allowing a lifted car to slide.

The greatest amount of time is spent positioning the rails and blocks to be parallel with each other and have the blocks contact the lifting points correctly.
Once positioned properly...the lift is great. Fast to lift and smooth.
Everything works as it should.

One nice feature is the ability to remove the power unit after a vehicle has been lifted and the locks are engaged.
I left the Subaru overnight with the power unit stored in the garage. Doing so also leaves no long hydraulic hoses to contend with when working under the car.
Once lifted and locked the car is VERY stable. I did not use any safety jacks after I was confident the car and lift were safe to work underneath.

One observation...when a car is lifted to the highest position...you will definitely need a low profile creeper if your chest is as thick as mine.
However, I could have gained some height by using the taller rubber blocks.
But the clearance for a large person underneath is tight with a standard creeper. Even at the highest lift position.

Overall...I give the QuickJack a very strong endorsement.
Wish I would have bought one sooner.

OK...bad news.

I just learned that the SEMA Shows specials posted are ONLY good for orders placed at the show in Vegas.

But...I also learned that special sale pricing IS being offered for online orders...just not as good as the show specials

Use promo code WELCOME online for $100 off any QuickJack model lift...same as what I paid...or...
Use promo code OFF15 online for 15% off any accessories with Free Shipping included.

Still a good deal.

Kerry,

What specific options did you buy?

Do you know how long the WELCOME promo code for online orders is valid?

Thanks.

Bob

Hey BOB, also have a look at : BestBuyAutomotive.com - sells all kinds of lifts, this is where I got my set up...just an FYI..

I bought the 12v power unit with extra cost options of the SUV adapters and the rubber pinch weld adapters.

The 12v power unit lifts the car faster than the 110v model and for me...is more useful at our farm where I may need to lift a vehicle without having electrical service nearby.
Most vehicles will always have an onboard 12 v battery...plus I carry a lot of 12v jump starters as a backup.
The portability of the QuickJack is a MAJOR benefit over any two post or four post static lift.

I am not sure how long the WELCOME promo code is working...but will check. I am certain it is good through Nov 2nd.
Be advised that there has also been talk of a Black Friday sale on the QuickJack Facebook page.

Bob,

I wanted to add that customer service from QuickJack has been amazing.

One of the long hydraulic hoses I received had light discoloration on the interior of one of the crimped hose fittings.
I contacted QuickJack and voiced my concern that the interior of the hose might have been contaminated during manufacture and I was uneasy potentially contaminating or damaging the hydraulic pump.
They did NOT ask for the hose to be returned for inspection. Rather... they sent a replacement hose...no questions asked...by Overnight Next-day Air Delivery from California....at NO Charge. I had the replacement hose by 10 am the day after I contacted them...!
I was impressed.

Expires Dec. 31st, 2018

If an order is placed..I would place two separate orders.
One for the jack and another for any accessories with the applicable discount code used for each order.

I'm.....working....on something. How many others are looking to purchase?

All, Ok, I was able to negotiate with QuickJack the SEMA show Price as shown in the .pdf that Kerry posted above. Caveat - have to buy multiples. I had told them possibly (4) total with some accessories.

I'm down for (1) BL-7000SLX with accessories - $1,250 for lift. I'm with Kerry in that I'll use it to lift my truck to rotate the tires.

Anyone else? Reply here....I'll arrange everything else as long as I can get commitment for at least (3) more. Let me know by end of week please!

For those on the fence...that is a great deal that Tim has negotiated...

As mentioned earlier...Those are the best sale prices I have seen since 2016. They won't' be any cheaper.

On one hand...I wish I had waited and combined my purchase with the group purchase.

But on the other hand...I wish I had bought one years earlier for all the time savings and vehicle access they provide.

Don't be the person who regrets not buying one a year from now when you need one... and the price is 10% higher...

If you work on your own cars and have multiple vehicles to service...it's a no-brainer.

Tim,

Does that offer include the BL-5000SLX ? (I need to take some measurements first)

(You guys are spending all my money!)

Bob

Bob, yes, all models, but need 3 orders minimum. Thought I saw at least 3 people interested.

Have you had your Suburban on the Quickjack 5000? Did you notice any hesitation by the power unit? any more comments on the gross weight of the vehicle?

Paul

Kerry,

It is my understanding that the lifting tray (with or without the rubber blocks) can be positioned to contact and lift contacting the 4 inch longitudinal tubes of the frame(rather than the cross pieces of the frame)?

Also, if I wanted to lift the car 3 ft vertical, I could use stands and lift it twice with blocks on the lifting trays?

Paul

Paul, No I have not.
The Suburban is still hooked up to my big trailer with a Tractor in tow.

However, the lift had no issue with the Outback at all. Very quick to lift with no apparent strain.

Based on what I have seen so far,...I would have no reservation lifting the 5400 lb Suburban.

Bob,

The lifting tray HAS to be used with the rubber blocks. That is so that the car does not move once lifted due to metal on metal contact between the tray and frame.
Plus allowing the tray to contact the frame will certainly damage the frame powder coat.

Also...if you are lifting on any surface with more than a 3 deg incline...the car could slip off.
I think this is even more critical when lifting on round frame members.

I think for lifting 4" round frame rails...I would consider buying a second set of the tall hard rubber blocks and having the tops machined with a concave 2" radius to match the frame rails.
Just to ensure a secure interface between the tray and frame rail.

Using the supplied rubber blocks you could lift on either the cross-members or 4" rails.
Keep in mind that you can lift with the rails parallel to the 4" frame tubes...or 90 degs to the tubes....as long as you are on a flat floor.
I would not attempt to lift 90 degs on any incline.

As far as lifting twice using jack stands...yes this has reportedly been done successfully by others.
In your case...I would consider lifting the initial time using the low profile rubber blocks...then once supported on jack stands...lifting a second time using the optional adjustable SUV tall lift extension.
Keep in mind that you will have to repeat the two-step process when lowering in order to remove the SUV adapters.

Ok, needed 3 to get the deal. However, backup plan in place.....PRI in Indy. Bob, will call you in the next week or so (before 12/6) and get details from you.
