Well I took off this afternoon and fixed my engine problem. My own fault. I had a loose fitting on the S/C which didn't let it build the boost it was supposed to. The computer pushed through the fuel though based on the air it was supposed to have. The result was a flooding condition. I double checked everything and took it out for a spin with no problems. Well almost none.
I took it to a place I was told about from a friend. Ends up I know the owner. David Jumper. Well to make a long story short, he found my right lower passenger ball joint almost ready to fall out of the spindle. This is out of the same part I had a problem getting correctly from a third party vendor. (See previous build threads) It looks like the ball joint at least has to be replaced and possibly the arm since the threads are toast for the ball joint. Everything was going fine until Dave found that, but am I glad he did. I'll see hat a dent I can put in the problem over the weekend.
Tim, please bring back plenty of video from those sunglass videos you take. I'll make sure I have everything fixed for the next time. I promise. Hell I have the helmet, the meatballs, found a place for my methanol purchase, installed new plugs and everything. Now I just have the get the suspension. Maybe I'll have the truck transmission inspected and have a reciever put on the back so I can tow the car next time. Things are just a little crazy right now, but hey I found a good shop in my area too!
