I had the opportunity to come back a different way from Washington today. When I got to Dutzow, I continued on TT to T (through Femme Osage) then to Femme Osage Ridge Road to Femme Osage Creek Road to Hwy F to Hwy 94. Goes by Daniel Boone's Home, which got me to thinkin, anyone besides me ever been there? And there is a winery off of Femme Osage Creek Road, kind of out of the way, but I bet it would be quiet. Just a thought.
 
Flooded routes got you to new places huh. Femme Osage is a neat little place and the Church has an old cemetery way up on the hill that is cool to walk through. A friend / customer of mine (and possible future Cobra pilot) is a partner at Chandler Hill Winery and from the web site, it looks like a really nice place to take the girls sometime.
 
94 was open today, but water was over the road before you get to Augusta, not from the river, from all the rain. Chandler Hill, that's it. The road isn't a high speed road, but it was entertaining with all the curves and very scenic. Kind of a back in time trip with all the old farmhouses along the way. Even saw a couple that were for sale....hmmmm....Wonder if I could convert my princess to a farm girl :rolleyes:
 
Been to that winery in the Cobra. They had no paved parking. I had to park a long way out on a rough, dusty gravel parking lot. The food sucked. The wine was marginal.
 
That's why you bring your own food :D You SPF guys, you want it all don't ya :p :D
