Miata front sway bar wanted

Skip, I removed the shock spacer and the joint end replaced the spacer. Perfect fit. This is on the car now for over 8000 miles.

cool.... not showing the shock, I wasn't sure what you did there....
I might look at that as it would be a better fit right at that mount...but what little driving I have done, I can tell a difference already.

Rich.. I might be running a different radiator then you, but a quick glance at mine tells me I might have lower hose interference if mounted like yours.
But I think I might move my links and try that.

Skip,
If you end up making more brackets please put me on the list, I would like to buy a pair. Hell, I'll pay you for a list of the rest of the parts required just to simplify the process.

Tom,

I'll be glad to cut you a pair... I'll let you know when I have them.

As long as the steel supply holds up and no one needs them yesterday... it's only a few minutes with the plasma cutter, then grind the edges... lay out the holes and take 'em home.

No big deal.

Welcome to come over... but most all of this is done at work to fill idle time..
I have a hard time just sitting around... the day drags. I can easily sit around at home.

I thought that I had replied to say thanks but I don't see it now. No rush for me, it'll take me a little while to get the rest of the parts together. Thanks Skip!

Here is a list of the heim joints I used.

Miata sway bars
For the front a mid to late(90-97) miata sway bar fits great, the links are from McmasterCar

Skip, I've been following your thread, very nice setup.
Since mine's not on the road yet, I was wondering, were you having an issue?
Did this solve it? Noticeable difference?
Are you going to do a rear one too, or not necessary?

Now I see Tim, Dan, Tom and Rick are adding them and Rich already has one. (I don't want to be the only one without! :D)

Mark, no, I was not having any issues but thought what the heck. Looking at pictures of Tims car having excessive lean when he was on the track, I thought it would be a real cheap upgrade so I got to reading. Seems the front will help, but the rear not so much.
I have noticed a small difference on some of my well known frequent routes. But I can tell you I will not push it to the limit on the street... so in reality.. it was cheap and an added bonus to have.. it can't hurt. I have a pattern for the mount but have run out of the Heim joints.. I have about $60. in mine

Get yours on the road and we'll get yours done.
