Miata front sway bar wanted

Keith Pm'd me about this suspension tuning chart so I thought I would post it here for everyone to use as a reference. On subject, if your car is oversteering then this front swaybar should help. If it is neutral or understeering then the front swaybar will likely make it worse as the front bar places more of the cornering forces on the front tires. Any negative issues the front swaybar creates can be compensated for later with the addition of a rear swaybar.

Enough of my rambling....here are the charts:

Skip, Wow that was fast, I give you a call to see when we can get together. Hopefully you had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

Rick:)

Rick, no problem... close to the end of the month. All of our PM's are complete so it was play time.

Anytime is fine.

That's awesome, thanks Skip! I will give you a call one day soon to arrange to come out and see you. Linda's Mom was sent to the hospital this morning and her dad has limited mobility for the next 2 weeks because of a catheter he has to wear temporarily. Various things have kept me away from here lately and I'm trying to catch up. I have a number for you that ends with 015, I think it's current. Thanks again, Tom

Tom... that number is not current.. I only use my cell.

Here is a list of the heim joints I used.

Miata sway bars
For the front a mid to late(90-97) miata sway bar fits great, the links are from McmasterCar
FRONT bar (2) 6072K213, (2) 6072K14

Thanks Rich, I appreciate the part numbers. To be clear (not an easy task with my mind) we need a right and a left female rod end? I got a chance to look at the parts last night but I didn't look that close. Can anyone share the part number and source for the bushings & brackets. I have been back and forth through the thread and i don't see it. Probably on the well written instructions that Skip provided and I missed it there too. I would like to get the parts ordered so I can paint and detail everything before it gets too cold out. Thanks again Skip, great to see you and Pat Sunday. Tom

OK, I read it wrong. I think that I now see that all I need is 2 of the 6072K213 1/2-20 female threaded shank to work with what Skip brought me. I just need the bushing and bracket numbers.

Tom.. That depends on the bar you get.
My Miata bar was a 19mm.. I just went to Summitt and ordered the bushings for a 19mm bar.
They were about $20..

Tom.. the Heim joints are both right hand thread. female and male... any adjustment would be done by removing one of the heim bolts. Not like a turn buckle..
Hope that helps.
