I texted a few people directly tonight, but wanted to share with the group. Several of us are going to meet at the QT on South 94 at 11:30 with plans to leave there by noon. We'll head down to Labadie (Hawthorne Inn) and eat lunch there if it's not too busy. I expect it will be with Church just letting out, if so, we'll go across the street. From there, we'll head to Hermann and back up 94. Route is in RWGPS at this LINK

Sorry for the late notice, wasn't sure if my car was ready or not. I'll be without rollbars and a few other things, but, it's drivable.

Great lunch at Hawthorne Inn and drive through Hermann afterwards. Keith/Laurie joined for part of the drive. Paul/Cindy, Rich, and Scot were with Linda and I until the end. Have a bit of a clunk when transitioning from decel to acceleration in 5th gear. Otherwise all good! Post you pics of you took any, I forgot. 😳🙄

Had a nice surprise when I pulled in to the garage yesterday. When I turned the car off, we heard a rather loud screeching noise, like, metal on metal. Upon further inspection the altenator fan was spinning freely and the pulley was not. I took off the belt and teh pulley pulled right off. Luckily, the altenator pulley has a cap on it and that is all that was holding the lockwasher and nut in place, otherwise, I would have lost the pulley, fan and belt between Hermann and Home    All good now as I tightened the nut back on. I am cocerned that the nut on the pulley aren't reverse threads though.

Sorry we missed this one…. We were out of town at The Sanctuary Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, SouthCarolina…side note of some merit ….. I was awarded the “Chairman’s Award - In recognition of a career of exemplary performance in the financial services industry, meaningful partnerships with Insurance Agency Marketing Services, and unparalleled client care….” I was surprised to say the least, and only the fourth person to ever receive this award…. Very nice indeed.
