Guts to buy Unseen

Clan Turnbull crest ...

It's a Turnbull Clan family crest! Yes I'm actually part of a semi-famous (or is it infamous) Scottish clan. It's one of the few I use and it is the battle crest for shields. I wanted to have it on a shield with a sword and double but battle axe behind it over my fireplace. Shelley said "not in MY house!" I'm sure we've all heard those immortal words. I can't wait to go out there. I've trying to write code today and i keep going out the the forums to look up more stuff. I think I'm in trouble. This cobra fever Scott was talking about is contagious. I'll have to be putting in some OT for some new stuff already and paying the sales tax. BTW it's 6.35% in Missouri and there is no ceiling according to the Department of Revenue. What a rip off. Oh well. Can't wait to travels the curves and hear that engine.

Chuck, jump on in the water's fine! The superformance up at fastlane is beautiful, I think BDR is having a sale on some rolling stock too! Go for it. (see now I can get in on the act too!)

Paralysis By Analysis...

Yeah I know. So am I. That's what made the decision so hard. Trying to calculate all the variables of engine, brakes, interio, paint, etc. It's hard. My kick in the parts was my wife. bless her. It was a matter of the right car at the right time. I still don't have it, but it's closer.

Love the family Crest!

Way too cool Bull. What do the words say above the crest? BTW It's a fun addiction. And thank God for loving, generous, unselfish & understanding wives. Sounds like U've got a sweetie like mine.

The banner says "I saved the King". Remind me at the meeting and I'll tell you the tale. I do have a sweetheart. Now I'm hopefully going to get a new girl to add to the family too!

Once the 2 daily drivers are paid for (Winter '09), I've got clearance to move forward. Chassis is going to be a Backdraft. It will be either indigo or indi blue with white stripes. Engine choice is starting to get clearer, but still up in the air. At this moment the ranking is as follows...390FE with stack EFI, 390FE without stack EFI, Roush 427SR, then Roush 402SR.

Don't mess with..............

Judge Judy! She's 1 mean _itch! If U turn me into her I'm really gonna clean Ur clock. & I'm not gonna be gentle like those sissys U play hockey with. Got it big boy.:eek::eek::eek:

If your judge Judy, you'd have to slap him. or call a bailif or what ever the sargent at arms is called. OUt where I grew up we didn't have judges or lawyers. Just an old shed guys would meet behind to settle their difference. More than one of those fights turned into life long friends.

Yeah Thanks Tim. I was going to do it after I got home, but in the excitement I forgot.

Guys

Rides are no problem. I just want to get comfortable with the car first. I'm planning on a loooonnnnnggggg time to be able to give rides and tool around the area. Heck, Shelley is even getting excited about it and my daughter Ashley can barely contain herself. I already had a supply of ear plugs due to all the shooting I do. :) It's going to be cool.

Ooooh, let me take you for a ride in it Dan. You wouldn't be the first guy I've scared in their own car :D. There's a spot up on Ridge road where you can hang the tail out for a long time if there is nobody coming the other way when you exit the "S" turn about midway between St. Paul and Old State road when the boost comes on .

Tom, While I appreciate the offer, I want to take it easy on it at first. :D I think I know the curve your talking about too. Right now I'm calling all over trying to find decent insurance that will let you actually drive the thing. I want to have that in place before the weekend. You know, just to take it off the trailer.;)
