Golf Outing????

OK. Me and one of my buddies are going to be playing on Friday, September 10. Tee time around 10a. Course on the IL side to be announced.

Who wants to join us???
 
Looking to tee of around 10a or so, have lunch at the turn and finish up by 4p. Don't know where yet, but I hear Gateway National is in good shape. I will know more in a couple weeks.

Lunch at the turn & take 6 hrs to play??????????? :confused: You country club types crack me up. :rolleyes::p Most golf courses I play at want you play in 4 hrs or less or they harangue you to death. :eek:
 
The reason the courses you play expect 4 to 4-1/2 hrs is that they know you hit the ball far fewer times than the rest of us.
 
Played at Spence Olin yesterday. 6 greens under repair. Wouldn't recommend playing there until next year. Will play at Stonebridge today. Will report later on playing conditions there. BAD year for fungus/mold conditions on greens this year. Evidently it is not as simple as aerating & reseeding. BAD deal. :(:(:(
 
Rough life you have there, man. Let me know when you need some relief of all the stress you're going through :D. Had lunch with my buddy today and we are shooting for 10a at Gateway National on Sept 11.
