Fellow Serpents,

We have been talking about doing this for 2 years now. How about a golf outing on a random Friday in late August/early September. I'm sure we can get 2 foursomes together. Was thinking somewhere in the middle such as Gateway National.

Chime in and let me know who's interested!

And, yes Dave, we'll still let you hit from the ladies tees.:D

Ouch! You really know how to hurt a "guy." :D And now that I'm playing some of the worst golf I've played in a long time, you decide to put this together. Oh well suck it up Dave & get ready to embarrass yourself.:rolleyes::o

Nice course at exit 41 on I-64..I am up for it...clubs will fit in front seat.
How many strokes you gonna give me Dave??

I'm going to start callin you Sharky instead of Snakey. :D I smell a rat. I'll bet you've gottin a lot better & your tryin to snooker me.:p:rolleyes:;)

BTDT. It is a nice course or atleast it was a couple of years ago. A guy I work with is a member there. Let me know if you want me to hit him up for info.

Objective for me is a day out of the office and to have some fun. I also can serve as official scorekeeper and rules official for you and Dave, since the trash talking has begun.

When, don't know...late August/early Sept??? Give me some input and we can go from there....when is everybody available?

TBULL, are you in??

i don't know, I haven't played golf since I've had both my shoulders rebuilt. I played a par three with Ashley and sucked. I'd hate to embarrass myself with these pros in our club.

I may be interested, but can assure you I am not going to take any money. I used to be able to drive it a country mile, but it would go out strong for 150-200 yards and then make a right turn. I think I played one game last year and the par three course with Ash this year. So twice in the last 4-5 years. That said, I do have the clubs and i'd be willing to try again.

Played yesterday. Greens were ate up/burned up where I played. I've heard that greens are burned up on a lot of couses on this side of the river. What's the story over there?

I'm not nuts (or dedicated) enough to go out and play in 100 deg heat like you are. I can tell you, though, the course conditions looked great at Firestone this weekend (on TV) :D

Let's table this for now and maybe we can get a date on the calendar when the weather breaks....looking for high 80's/low 90's and below.

NUTS I am. Dedicated I'm not. :D:p BTW Sounds like our foursome is me, you, Snakey & Bull. What courses near Dan's neck of the woods would you recommend? Annbriar is the prettiest course on this side & it's in Waterloo but can be pricey.

I have had a lot of compliments on our local course...greens are in good shape and fairways too. This last month has been dry, dry, dry hot, hot, hot and doesn't look like any precip is in the forcast. My lawn is dormant as it has ever been.
Pick a course and let me know when and where and how.

The Wireless association of Missouri/Kansas has a golf outing next Tuesday at Forest Park. One of our foursome dropped out. Anyone interested in playing let me know asap. You can watch me throw my golf balls down the fairway, not kidding :)
