a '65 Buick Riviera in Wentzville. Anyone want to come with me? Going to get the car out for a bit, then back to the house to get closer to completing my bathroom remodel

That has the potential for one sinister ride.
I might go on Friday, but don't wait on me.

Going out Saturday to look at some serial numbers on the block and rear for a guy in Florida. Apparently, if this car has an LX in the serial number it is a 425 dual carb setup with nail heads. Taking my car out there and will take the long way home :D

I'm headed that way from my house at 9:30 to get out there around 10.

Well, that was kinda fun. Found out the car wasn't a numbers matching car and the engine (most important to the prospective buyer) was from a '66 not a '65. It is however a 425 with dual carbs, just not the hipo motor being sought. Car was really rough, nearly every panel would need to be replaced.

The car is at a body shop in St. Paul, and the guy says he has a Cobra coming to paint soon, he didn't know the owner. He had a '59 MG in the shop that he was painting, looked like it was going to be a nice car. Nice brisk ride in the car this morning, but the car has a stumble/miss in it...again. Need to call Omer.

St. Paul, you drove right past my place if you came up 79. Maybe you should consider CMC in Moscow Mills, that's where my car is at now.
A couple of their engines.

Great! Now you have Rich posting engine porn. I like the velocity stacks and i assume the last is for a mid engine mount. Nice looking porn you have there.

CMC? Is that the Marine place that offered to dyno & computer tune engines? (I can't remember the gentleman's name that joined us for Snake & Eggs (and rode in the GT-350)10/9. I'm kinda interested in talking to him next year.

Yes, Competition Marine Co. 636-366-4445 Jeff is whom I talk with mostly.
