Making a "save the date" forum post so I can get this added onto our GCC calendar:

The 2025 GCC Annual Picnic will be on Saturday 9/27. Trying a new location that we feel should work well! It will be at the Lake Saint Louis pavilion right off Hwy 40/64. It is gated so very private, has lots of parking, nice restrooms, a beach and right on the lake!! I know it's further out than than Veterans was, but IMO is probably a bit shorter drive than Broemmelsiek that we went to for years? As Broemmelsiek is almost 4 miles off Hwy 40/64 and only 2 exits closer than than LSL? And...back by popular demand will be Joe's Grill and his incredible pork steaks!! More details will be provided as the date gets closer.

Probably be same as last year...begin arriving 2:30 and will eat about 4:00pm. Hopefully that works for you and Ann? I know she mentioned yesterday that it would be late afternoon before you could make it?

Just got informed that we will have to cut the day short. We have friends that their daughter is getting married so we will show up in between wedding and reception that night. So maybe no dinner.

Mike you mention date of 9/7… this is Sunday… is the picnic Sat or Sun?
 
We will not be able to make it this year we are going to the Route 66 Mother Road Festival in Springfield, IL
 
I'm trying to re-arrange things, but not sure if I'm going to be able to attend.
My grandkids are coming in for my grandson's birthday, my daughter arranged it for that same day & time! Trying to swing that I can bring him out, he'd love to see that cars. My car is his second favorite (I'm ranked behind Grave Digger Monster Truck now).

If coming west on Hwy 40/64, you would get off at the Lake Saint Louis Blvd exit. Go through the light past the Huck's station and continue down around below the Schnuck's store. The pavilion will be on your right. It's the one you can see from Hwy 40/64.

Mark, feel free to bring the grandkids. There is a small beach right next to the pavilion that the kids can play on?
