Kent & Jorja Dickemann have volunteered to host another Garage Party/BBQ at their house in Glenn Carbon, IL.

Start gathering around 11:30am with food served beginning around 12:30pm. But, please respond to the attached poll to help us with food preparation?

Kent is offering the use of his car lift for nut/bolt checks, chassis lubes and even an oil change if you want? EDIT: The lift will be unavailable Saturday due to a project Kent is working on

GCC scales will also be available. EDIT: Due to weather and the lack of available cars, we will postpone this to another date to setup the scales

Food, soda and bottled water will be provided. Will need to bring any other beverage of choice.

Will end with a short cruise to Bobby's Frozen Custard. :D

Sorry guys, Ashley is finally having her engineering graduation ceremony that day. About a year late, but she worked hard for it.
 
A couple of Edits made to Mike's original post above. Looking forward to bench racing and seeing everyone. Weather will wash out a car gathering, but, it's more about the people anyway :D

KENT - Do we need to bring anything other than chairs, ourselves and Man Soda's???

I wanted to let everyone know Kent/Jorja and the GCC Officers are well aware of Saturday's current weather forecast. Kent, like us, would prefer to hold it on a good weather day so we will be touching base tomorrow afternoon to see if the event is still on for Saturday or if it will be rescheduled? If it is a go, please bring chairs and any other drinks of choice as Tim mentioned. Food, soda and bottled water will be provided. You are welcome to bring a dessert or salad/side dish but it is not required. Thank you and watch the forum for updates!! :)

UPDATE...due to the rain still forecasted for this Saturday 4/24, the Garage Party/BBQ at Kent & Jorja's house has been rescheduled for Saturday 5/08!!

Same times and arrangements as before. Food, soda and bottled water will be provided. You are welcome to bring a dessert or salad/side dish but it is not required.

Dan, Rick, Ashley and others that couldn't make 4/24 hopefully 5/08 works for you? :)

OK...due to a lousy weather forecast in TN on May 5-7th...we have rescheduled our trip.
We are back on for the garage party on May 8th...!

Good observations Mike and Kent...Saturday was a washout for sure, seems like it just stopped couple hours ago. Bummer, but a new day and new time will be in the works soon I assume....May is a busy “get ready month” for beginning summer... Barbie and I would be good in May EXCEPT Sat 5/22...will ne in Maryland...home in time for 29th if needed....
