Fun Ford Weekend

Tim, You could blow off Gateway and come over to Family Arena Sunday Mike M and myself are going over. He's going to race and I'm going to try autocross.

Yeah, maybe I'll do that. Mike, other than my helmet and a long sleeve shirt/pants, anything else I need? I have my SCCA membership. What day Rick?
 
Mike was talking about Sunday. He's going to call me later this week. Can I still use your other helmet.

Yep it is Sunday. They even have loaner helmets.

List of what to bring.
1. Helmet motorcycle is OK.
2. Drivers license and scca I'd
3. Money
4. Tape for class and numbers
5. Water / gatorade
6. Sunscreen and umbrella
7. Tools just in case
8. A car that will pass tech

That is about it.

What time does all this happen? Can I fit spectator in with ball game?

I thought the money part was for non scca members. Even for us members it costs? Not sure I will be in for the whole day (work and drive) pending how my nose feels. I'm hoping my car will pass tech :rolleyes: I don't plan to put my good pads/rotors on, but if you think I do, I will.
 
The cost is $35 for members and $50 for non members. We have to pay for the lot and insurance.

You should show around 0730 at family arena. XP world heat 1 and runs heat 2. Perfect for a first timer to watch 1st then drive. We should be done by 2pm right as it is getting hot.

Paul spectators are always welcome. I wont have a passenger seat but tim and rick will.

Tim street pads are fine.

Yahoo we have 3 of us! Anybody else want to give it a try??? It would be cool to see a bunch of our members all tearing up the track. I know the cars will attract a lot of attention.

BTW I would guess we will begin running in heat 2 at about 11-12 o'clock.
 
Yeah, I just had that to. Has to be more than 6 letters I think. BTW - SCCA is looking for volunteers for the Fun Ford weekend autocross.
