Dan, Steve M, and I ended up staying long enough to get poured on by a flash t-storm. Dan's tonneau worked fine, Steve's car cover isn't waterproof he found, and well, my umbrella worked fine on the driver's seat 
We stayed a bit longer, but a bigger badder t-storm cell was headed our way, so we left. I am on official redneck. Didn't really notice I was getting that much sun until it was too late. Great turnout of cars at the show.
