Ok, so this is next weekend, I am planning on going, Dave apparently, anyone else? I may could talk David in to saving us Cobra's a few spots. Let me know.

I just dropped off about 100 R&G fliers at Fast Lane. Laura Williams told me that they are expecting about 400 cars. I am planning on attending and I think Tom is also. I will bring more fliers to hand out and I am e-mailing some out also. Two issues we have with the flier are: 1)we do not show sponsors on there yet because we are not sure who they are and 2) we state to send pre-entry checks made out to Gateway Cobra Club. At this point we do not have a checking account with that name.

NO rain in St. Charles as of 10:40. Looks like we have a 3 hour or so break in rain. But, who knows once the sun get's up there a bit and the heat/humidity take over. I'll go up for a bit, but not entering the car in nothing. I know Mike likes to go to this, Mike?

I already sense some abuse comin from Hollywood & he hasn't even posted anything re the Fast Lane Car Show. Boy am I in 4 it now. I ckickned out today. Bahk, Bahk, Bahk.

Well, I have no pics. Why? You can see all the hot rods that showed up at http://www.fastlanecars.com I saw three, count 'em, I II III 'outside' hot rods. Everyone drove their other cars. The Corvette club showed up in great numbers - about 20 of late model rides with hard tops, nothing special there though. So, did not pass out any flyers, didn't see any of ours displayed either, so they were all taken I guess. It did shower while I was there, but not enough to make the streets wet, but enough that I thought to my self I made a good decision not bringing mine up. Ever since Tom told me about he and Mike almost wiping out.... Oh well, plenty of shows coming up.

We arrived at Fast Lane a little after two - very poor turn out. Mike was there and so were about 50 Corvettes. There was a B&B Cobra and Dave Williams' Cobra inside. We put out the new R&G flier.
