Dragon Nationals May 1-3 - Start at post 47 for info

Getting closer to getting mine on the road. So, I didn't make reservations. I have a friend that said I could stay at his condo, or Brandon, I may take you up on your spare room, pending weather I guess. That being said, I believe Dave and Dan are coming down Friday, what time is breakfast Saturday morning? It takes me about 2 1/2 hours to get there, so if it isn't too early, I would come down Saturday morning, but isn't a problem to come Friday if that works better. Maybe dinner out Friday night?
 
My reservations are for Saturday night. I'm coming down that morning. Hoping for good weather and no mechanical breakdowns. :D

Hey Tim TerBer is griping about going down. There are 2 beds in the room I have reserved. Let me know if ya need a place to bed down. Not sure Ter is going to go. Ya know if I can get the 58 road worthy by then this would make for an excellent shakedown cruise for it. :)
 
I have a place to stay, however, it would be at a different place and that would defeat the purpose of being in one place for Brandon's 'shuttle' :D So, I may take you up on that room. Linda didn't want to go :confused: :rolleyes: Soooo, guys weekend at the Lake :D

COOL. We'll talk more tonight @ the meeting. I'm considering cancelling the Fri. night portion of the reservation & then cruising down with you, Dan & the rest of the guys Sat. morn.
 
UHOH. Guys Weekend? If nobody else's spouse is going, I doubt Shelley will go. Kind of like a spare in a cobra. Of course before I worry about that, I have to get mine road worth first. See you at the meeting tonight.
 
I am up for whatever everyone decides. The original plan was to meet at the house around 10am, have breakfast and cruise to the show. Spend a couple hours at the show then cruise to dinner on the water. Sunday, I was thinking breakfast on the water then cruise if you would like or go back home. I live here, you guys have the drive so it is really up to you. The cruise to the show is about 30-45 minutes. The cruise to dinner is about the same.
 
I will be there Saturday morning along with Dan, and I think Dave now. So, are we to meet at your house? If so, is the address on the member list correct?

BTW - the plan above sounds good. Can we add to that the plans for storage of the cars Saturday night and "shuttle" plans/ideas?
 
If Linda & I can come at all it will be Saturday morning as well since we have a wedding Friday night. As for the wives, Linda loves it when the girls show up for stuff but she comes to be with me :D. I have never been on a cruise or trip without her, meetings, shows and build visits yes but not serious road time. Tell the ladies to "Man up" and get in the car :eek:.
 
Hey Tom if the ladies have to "Man up" & get in the cars should the guys then have to in return "Girl down" & agree to go to Josephine's for the ladies' sake? :D BTW I would suggest we meet @ the St. Peters exit off I70 near river roads mall for a rendezvous point to head to the Lake. Is there a Quik Trip @ that exit? Hey Tom Ter was asking if any of the Lindas are going. Shoe run? :D Hey Tim I believe our room can sleep 4. :)

Yes. Storage is taken care of. Dave if you would still like to come down Friday there is a cruise around town. Right now there are 720 cars registered for the show. They all cruise Friday. It is easy to get to the house. I figure either I will get everone directions or meet everone on the way down. Lets figure first when everyone is coming. Tim, sure the room is there if you would like, that is why I offered. It will be YOUR job to talk Shannon out of the garage space though:eek:;).
 
Ok, I will play that one by ear. All I know is I have a place to lay my head, shower, and store my car. Check, check and check. Brandon, where is the storage area? PM me that so I can better decide where I will stay the night. My only concern is if I decide to stay at friend's condo, I will need a waterproof cover. If I stay with Dave (if Terri doesn't go) No issues with car storage/transportation to and from car. If I stay at Brandon's, Shannon's space may be in jeopardy :D, probably not. So that's my "dilemma".

So, STL folks - in order to pickup the South Leg folks (they will be coming out I-64 to I-70) so it will be best to meet at the QT in Wentzville at I-70 and Wentzville Pkwy, exit 208, go North to the QT on the Right. If we meet there at 7:30am, and leave no later than 8, we will be at the lake by 10am to meet up with Brandon.

Brandon - where should we meet you?
 
In the cove by the state park, next cove over from Party Cove. Can't remember the name of the complex, have it marked on my GPS though.
 
That is in between the hotel and the house. No problem either way. You have a spot at the house or a ride, your choice.
 
I say we meet at the house. The address on the member list is correct. As we get close, if you would like I can PM directions.
