Received a phone call last evening from Theresa, Tony Goebel has suffered an appendicitis attack and all the fun that accompanies it. Pain but the doctors were able to attend to it before it burst. Sidelined for a while.

Hang in there, Theresa, he'll be up and around quickly.

Get well soon, Tony.

Dang....Guess he won't be bench pressing my car tomorrow :D Get well soon Tony!

Tony....Hope your pain has been minimal.

In 1939 my mother had her appendix burst while on the family farm. She was only 13 at the time.
They lived South of Auxvasse MO and my Grandfather wrapped her in blankets and took her in an open horse drawn wagon over rutted country dirt roads to the hospital in Mexico MO 15 miles away.
The trip took nearly four hours.
She would later recount that the pain was more excruciating than childbirth.

Hang in there and be very thankful that medical attention was close at hand.

Kerry

Thanks guys. What a story Kerry. I was able to catch it early. It was taken out laparoscopic so I'm doing pretty well. I'm going to come up tomorrow and run the scales. I just won't be able to do a lot of bending over. See you all tomorrow.

Glad you're ok Tony. That's the fastest turn around time I've heard of after a surgery!

Tony, after we got busy with the scales and dyno, I completely forgot about your surgery.
Are you ok after all of the activity today? Hope you didn't strain anything.

I'm feeling pretty good. Went home and took a short nap and now I'm at work for the night.

Wow....strong, very strong....glad you say you are feeling up to par....I say SLOW AND STEADY should be your theme....get well Tony....
