So, my DTV bill has crested over $200/mos again (internet/TV only) and I keep getting special offers from Spectrum...Anyone with experience with Spectrum? Internet speed is 400 Mbps compared to 50 Mbps that I currently have. How much is it after the special offer as they are offering internet/TV or $80/mos.

We dropped Uverse and kept the internet. We then went with an Amazon Firestick for TV / movies.
It has worked well and is about half the $210 / month we were paying after buying Netflix streaming service and Amazon Prime.
You should check it out.

ATT is migrating customers away from UVerse, putting their efforts into DirecTV. Spectrum still has their issues also. It isn't even close to a perfect world. One's as bad as the other (Sorry, when you talk about phone/cable companies, you can't use the word 'good')

Had DirecTV and really liked it, but my bill went from $160/month to $230 last month when the "introductory 2 year offer" expired. I've talked to ATT / DirecTV twice about getting the same deal I had and they are clueless on how to do this. I'm dropping their expensive service and going to Charter / Spectrum next week. I've also hated their poor customer service and terrible Internet for years, but tolerated it.
We've been watching more Netflix and Amazon Prime anyway and as Ann says "how can we have hundreds of channels and premium channels and there be nothing good to watch!!??".

This is the cheapest I've found:

I've tried them all. DirecTV is now owed by ATT and my bill Skyrocketed. I went to ATT Uverse, but the same deal there. Constantly had to bicker with them about the deal. I was suppose to get a year at one rate, but within months it started going up. Had to call and get it back down and the internet was slower due to the transmittal through the phone lines. For me the slow internet and constant bickering was a deal killer. I cut the cable and installed an HD antenna for all the local HD channels. We get the rest through Hulu, Sling TV and Netflix. Hulu is around $12, Sling around $30 and Netflix depends on what you want. I ended up saving $85 a month and I'm honestly happier. Spectrum for me is around $65

We are stuck with Charter/Spectrum....Barbie bought “ROKU” devices ($20)...eliminated the boxes...3 mos it recovers cost...total bill went from $231 down to $180 (big deal..hahaha), but a few bucks savings...try BUSINESS SPECTRUM...whoa baby...office runs $350 month (internet/TV basic/phone).... so $530 month ($6,000 yr +).... is my nut to watch BASIC ... do watch a few series on Amazon Prime...ITS A TOTAL RIP OFF!
