We would like to play with the corner scales some more regarding calibration and use. Learned a few more tricks and need to verify they function as they should.

This will involve weighing some cars after we play/verify the calibration. Going to have to lift weights on/off the scales so some amount of tedium/lifting. Who's game?

Last time we did this, we had access to scale weights from a local manufacturer. Unfortunately, our source is no longer employed there. Does anyone have any large dumbell weights they can bring along. Ideally, we would test each scale at around 600 lbs. I have about 150 lbs in weights but they are smaller ones and require more stacking. If you have some, can you identify the size and quantity. If you have weights but can't make the outing, let us know if we can borrow them.

Thinking maybe Sept 24th, depending on weight availability? Who's in? is there another date that works better? Figure it will probably take around 4-5 hrs.

OK, looks like we've got the weights. Now, how about the strong backs?

Let me know where you want me to bring them. One thing, are we going to have to move them to each of 4 scales?

I should be available during the day, but have something going on around dinner time. I'll double check with the boss. I also have some weights if needed. What time are you thinking?

Trying to get a head count. Is Saturday morning still good with everyone? I see a lot of views but not many commitments to attend.

Will 9:00 am work for everyone, assuming Bob will get them here by then? I am guessing we'd be done by noon. And yes, we will be moving the weights repeatedly from scale to scale. Sorry, no way to get around the tedium.

Would it be better to do this somewhere else so there's more parking? Sure wish John Z would volunteer that brand new garage :D

Looks like we'll have to put this on hold til we can come up with a date that accomodates more "lifters"

Having done this once before, it is not a task for just four.

We'll discuss Sunday at the picnic and come up with an alternative date and time.
