As of Monday, Aug 23rd, we are over 50 attendees and the potential of over 20 cars

Sure hope everyone can make it. Per your request, the coordinators have arranged for exceptional weather.

We'll plan festivities to begin somewhere between noon and 12:30, depending on how well we can get the charcoal started. Should be in full swing by 1pm

Babler State Park - Walnut Grove picnic shelter - follow the signs in the park

Let's plan for a group picture (synchronized rollbar holding) around 3pm?

Gifts / Desserts / Raffles / Desserts / Games / Desserts / Friends / Desserts

Club is providing Hot Dogs / BratWurst / Hamburgers with buns, condiments, etc. along with paper plates, utensils, table cloths.

PotLuck by the membership on salads / chips & salsa or dip / Veggie dishes / Desserts / or anything else that sounds good

Club members responsible for the beverages of their choice.

Come and challenge last years washer champions

How about clipping those baseball cards to the frame of your bike with a spring clothespin so you could sound like a harley, or an indian, or a norton, or a triumph as you pedaled down the street? To add more cylinders, add more cards! I had a W17 one day. I could actually feel it harder to pedal with all the extra drag on the spokes!! How many thousands of dollars worth of baseball cards did I destroy???:mad:

Here's a map of the park. As you come in to the park and get to the top of the hill you will see a statue in the field to your right, the map shows this and makes it easy to find. I think I took everyone the long way last year. There will be signs for you to follow.

Also, be aware that WESTBOUND I-64 will be closed from Long Road to Hwy 94 over the weekend. You can still go EASTBOUND though.

Paul, add Skip & Pat Weise to the list. I got a PM from Skip that they will be there Sunday.
 
Would there be objections to me coming out and giving rides in the Coupe? I know alot of members have expressed an interest.

No she has other plans already. I may bring a friend, but will probably not be there in time for the food. Just coming for the fun. I am shooting for around 2 or so.
