Bonfire 2018

Bringing this up.
11/1018 is the date for the bonfire---thats this Saturday
I'll make a couple pots of chili, anyone can bring their favorite side if they wish.
Bring your beverage of choice, a chair and anything else you desire. It looks to be rather on the cool side so dress accordingly. You may come at anytime, if you'd like to do a little target shooting arrive early, the sun sets sooner now with the time change. I'll light the fire jus before sunset.
Anyone have any requests let me know
 
Rich, I will have to play it by ear, Barbie has her foot surgery tomorrow - Monday...Chesterfield Surgery Ctr - 6am start... they say about 3+ hrs. Will be home as it’s out patient surgery... so depending how this goes...I’ll see what Saturday may bring... may be there in sprit only...?

Rich, I've got extra cheese & sausage and buffalo chicken dip left from AR that I will bring along with some Beef franks and buns? Mike
 
Tell her we don't bite, and we will remind her she's not 29 anymore :D.
 
Enjoy the bonfire everyone, wish we could be there but would be along drive. Made it to our winter home safely yesterday. It's going to be 84 today so I think I'll drive the Cobra to go vote.

Guys it looks as if the weather is going to turn to COLD on Saturday. Should we continue?
 
17th says 52 for high...also Barbie would have another week under her belt...which could be positive toward possible attendance, not to mention SHOOT THE BIG GUN...it’s new and this would be first time out of the box... got tons of 9mm ammo... just thinking that’s all....52 is better than 37...I’m thinking...as mentioned this Sat we would have to pass...

Unfortunately, the 17th won't work as Kellie is in town, and we will be traveling to my sister's.

Rich, my .02 is it's your place, your party! The group will support whatever decision you make? :)

If next weekend is out it'd probably be next year before we could reschedule. But...if the colder temps won't deter people I could always bring my portable fire pit to help keep folks warm while shooting or hanging out prior to the bonfire being lit?
 
Well, IF it were me....clear out your garage, and, we can have the bonfire and for those that are too cold, garage with Mike's firepit (with open doors). I think it will be way too cool even with the size of fire to sit for very long. You have it, we'll be there.
