I had the coupe body repaired and paint touched up by Jeff Hoskins(Lake Road Rod and Customs). Thanks Paul for the referral.

He commented that I was lucky on the damage. The work was repairing fiberglass damage on the nose, light cavities, fender wells and underside. Repainted the damaged area and blended to existing. Clearcoat over whole nose, numbers redone, aligned hood. Total bill $6,510. So it was expensive.

I guess if he did a whole coupe paint job, it would be $15-16K. Roadster correspondingly less.

What are my impressions. Excellent. The car looks BETTER than when it was first painted. Jeff is pleasant to deal with. it took two weeks, but understand that I just happened to hit him during a slack period. Normally he is booked solid.

You be the judge.

Beautiful as always Bob. Good luck. Now get that out and enjoy it in this fall.

Look's awesome Bob! When Jeff was in the club his Cobra always looked extraordinary...the shine and depth was amazing!!

Yeah, he showed me a picture of the "before". It looked like it had been hit with an artillery shell!

Yes, was quite a transformation! For newer members...Jeff bought a totaled yellow Superformance from an insurance company and turned it into the beautiful Cobra pictured above!!

Very nice and beautiful my friend... happy for you... hope you get your $7k from that PENNA dude... don’t lay down...

Is Jeff the gentleman who owned and operated a body shop off of Hwy 21...?

Yes, It is off of Hwy 21 on Tishomingo Road.

Funny thing. He basically works out of a huge shop at his home. He told Lynn and I about some of his customers. They are from all over the US as well as the world. I will have to tell you later about the Sheik who is a customer.
