Thanks guys! The lift is set in the narrow configuration, but I'll need to move between narrow and wide frequently and wonder if I can use pins instead of bolts to secure the sliding platform in place. Any advice or experience with this?OK, I'm jealous.![]()

Here you go, Paul. The platform sits on the cross beam and can be set in either of two positions (narrow, or wide). The bolt holes are 5/8" diameter and the beam is 2" wide boxed steel. I'm thinking of replacing the bolts with pins like these: https://www.amazon.com/Reliable-Aft...17-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&psc=1Take a picture of the "sliding platform" and the bolts in question

Paul,David,
I'm gonna pass on this one - There are a bunch of cables that run back and forth in the runways and I don't know if the BendPak design requires a firm mount of the runway or if a loose pin would be OK. You could be setting yourself up for a problem.
I'd suggest a phone call to BendPak Tech Support and tell them you need to change the spacing regularly and would the use of pins be acceptable? They can advise you properly. I bet they are going to advise against it.
Paul
