For those that asked, I run heat #1 and work Heat #2. So I will be running from 10-11:30. If anyone wants to ride along get there a little early (9:30ish) to sign up. If anyone wants to come early and walk the track with us be there by 8:30. By walking the track you get to study the lines you intend to take and look for problem areas.

Remeber if you want to see how some hack drives then ride with me! If you want to see what a FFR Coupe can do in the hands of one of the fastest drivers on 4 wheels then ride with my co-driver Andy Hohl.
 
What a horrible day to race. I drove poorly and ended up 3rd place. I found that I have a lot to learn about driving in the rain. I have always driven very conservative in the rain and have never really pushed hard when wet. My best time was faster than my FWD competition, but I hit 1 cone which gave him 2nd place behind my pro co-driver. Even with my poor performance today I am still well ahead in the championship points so no worries.

My co-driver however had raced in the rain and did quite well. He was 4 seconds faster than me and helped me to pick up some time in a few places.

The highlight of the day was a new guy with a 2012 Nissan GTR needed me to ride along to keep him on course. Man is that car impressive. I had never seen what a 500hp AWD car with excellent traction control will do. It really is amazing how good that car is everywhere.

Sorry I missed it. I was up and ready to go but it was raining like crazy. I figured the competition would be off with all the rain. I'll try again on the next one.
 
No problem I would not have come either. All you missed was a miserable performance on a miserable day.
