Well guys, it's that time again. Friday night June 5th, another Wentzville cruise at Harris Automotive. If you've been to one you know what it is, if not, well they close the road down from 6:00 to 9:00 and you cruise about a 15 block circle showing off your ride. Bad part, no burnouts... at least on the street. The good part, it's only $5.00 and it goes to charity. Good food and "Lot's" of cars. Car Registration from 4:00 to 6:00 at Harris parking lot.
That's 909 East Pearce Blvd. For more info call Harris Automotive at 636-327-4042

See you there. I'll be at the lower lot next to Pete's at Harris's second building.

Skip,
Linda will still be in California but I plan see you there, I love waiting for the storms to roll in :D. This is a great gathering and the last 2 have brought on big storms with great lightning shows and tons of rain. Not to worry, Dennis is a great host and not only provides good parking but has always made room in his shop for us to pull inside until the rain stops.

TOM<are you prodicting rain because you can make 6 figures on T.V. i will just look for the mares-tails in the sky the evening before:D or red sky at night sailors delight red sky in the morning sailors warning.................;)

Forgot, going to Rascal Flatts concert with Linda. Won't be there.

So, now maybe I am, for a little bit. The concert doesn't start until 8pm. I could leave the house at 6:30 - 7 and still make it on time, which means I could get there around 4:30 like Skip, stay until 6 and come home to go to the concert. Just TOO NICE OF A DAY TO NOT DRIVE IT!

You guys are all slowly killing me!! I haven't been home yet to see if the part came, so I don't know about tonight or this weekend yet. :(

I will also be there. Or did I already say that? Hope I can find the place. I know -- just turn off your car and listen for the thunder!
:D

Big crowd tonight - estimate about 400 cars.
Attendance = Tim M, Mark & Madison, Skip & Pat, Karl S., Gary O.
Tom K was missed - hand in there Tom.
I'm sure - when Linda gets back everything will be fine.
We met a new guy from Foristell, and saw some unidentified Cobras.
I left a card in their cars.

Here's some pictures

Who's Silver car next to Karl? I used to think I had a loud car, not anymore. Man there were some loud cars there. One car had so much thump to it, when it rolled over a bare spot in the pavement, it started throwing rocks out of the pothole :D Saw my next dream car there, a beautiful '57. So, anyone take the cruise?

The car next to Karl's is Rob from Forestell (sp).
Nice looking car - and new.
F5, built himself, painted in a friends garage.

That's a huge bummer - Hope you get it going soon.
What do you think caused it to fail?

It was fun Tom. Sorry to hear of your problems. It was a great night for cruising. The problem was there were so many cars that the cruise route sort of became "Grid locked". So many cars wanting to cruise and no cars pulling off, it was a parking lot.
I would guess more then 400 cars. 400 might of donated, but I would guess 500 plus along the whole route.

Lots of cars in the parade.
I took a lap.
I have to wonder how much I shortened the life of my clutch.
No more parades for me - but it was fun.
