Sorry for the double post, wanted to put this in the Public Forum so I could share with others.
Rich & I headed over to Steinmart Saturday, after Cars & Coffee to meet up with the Greater St Louis Kit Car Club.
Unfortunately, Rich was having some overheating issues, so he decided not to join us and headed home to diagnose his cooling system.
Dave's good looking 289 kit (not sure of manufacturer).
A very nice Chevy 350 powered Ferrari. Just finished up some winter mods and this was a test drive. Unfortunately, some leaking tranny fluid side-tracked him and he wasn't able to join us.
Dan's 427.
Another 350 Chevy, this Austin Healy was a sharp looking track car and ran at Run & Gun several times.
My brother-in-law / co-pilot, Jeff.
Stopping in Barnhart to meet up with another member.
This Stalker was a killer track car and "ate Cobras on the twisty's".
Powered by a Honda V-Tech, I think he said it was about 1,400 lbs with a 1/2 tank of gas!
Arrived in St. Genevieve and headed over to the Anvil Saloon for some very good food and fun conversations. My mom & dad met us at the Saloon and Kerry joined us for a bit as well.
I'd highly recommend this destination for lunch (food and service was really good and the ambiance was nice too). The drive was very leisurely, maybe too congested and well traveled by law enforcement for a spirited drive, but it was a GREAT and enjoyable cruise!
Couldn't have asked for better weather for July, WOW!
Really enjoyed the cruise, food, and the guys & their cars.
