Today at lunch, after the Fast Lane Toys for Tots drop off, we talked about the London Cobra Show.

I decided that I’m going to go, so I made a reservation at the Marriott.

Is anyone else planning to attend?

Steve, timing is really good for you to go and I'm sure some others may as well. Mike
 
Hmmm, to be honest, don't remember vendors setting up booths to buy stuff. Anyone else? I won't be able to make it this year.
 
Thanks Tim, my only reference is from aviation shows like Sun-n-Fun and Oshkosh where vendors and sponsors sometimes have “show” specials.

Thanks for the info, I’m looking forward to attending.

So the more important question is, how did the cookie baking go?

Several of the vendors like Breeze show up along with folks that are creating electric Cobras and other unique things. Factory Five and a lot of their pro builders show up. There are a couple T-shirt vendors and several other replica manufacturers. We went about 3 years ago right before my kit arrived, it's a great event if you are still trying to decide on colors and options but can be a little overwhelming with all the different options. We got a chance to spend about 30 minutes one-on-one with Dave Smith, he was spending a lot of time with new customers and assuring them that their parts would get there eventually.
 
If you're building, it's a great event to det ideas and talk to guys about their builds!
I'm thinking about going this year, I'll know more later, but I've been 3 times prior and really enjoyed it.
 
I added this to our GCC calendar. We may have a group interested in going this year?
 
Just registered and made hotel reservations for London 2025, anyone else planning to attend.
 
I’ll be out of town, out of state vacation… always wanted to go… maybe next year???
 
As a new member I just became aware of the London Cobra show and Sharon and I are considering going> Unfortunately the Marriott is booked up. Recommendations for a different hotel? Is the Saturday night dinner worthwhile?
Is Saturday the big day or is two days sufficient. No cobra yet but will be looking at colors etc.

There's a nice Holiday Inn express across the highway from the host hotel. We stayed there a couple of years ago. I would say the Friday night lot party is a good time or was when we went. If you are going to see all the cars in one place to get ideas then Saturday is a must. All of the cars will be in one place to view. Warning it's pretty overwhelming with so many colors and options on so many cars. We're going up on Wed. and returning on Sunday and will be trailering the car. We didn't attend the Sat. dinner the first year but have tickets for it this year.
