Need to see how many if any are interested in this event. Please see this link for details - Superstars N Supercars

If you are interested, please let me know as they are looking for a select # of cars to provide rides to the participating kids. I thought I had posted this.....but cannot find where I did. Thanks!
 
I'm interested, but would like more details and what are the commitments, costs, and requirements.
I'm not interested in the car show, but interested in giving kids rides.

Mark, all details on their website. Me and Turner are going and showing. $20 to benefit the charity. If you have specific questions, I can ask the organizers.
 
OK, I'll review the link again, I didn't see anything about Rides last time I looked.
What are your understandings?

Yes...I registered today, Paid $20...sent 3 photos to; teucs.llc@gmail.com - I registered as an EXOTIC-65 Cobra Roadster 427...? Should work. If I get anything back from them will let all know...still hazy on actual , what where and when details...hopefully run in as a group, Park and stay together? If it blows up and we don’t make it, no biggie the $20 is for a good cause... as a ROOKIE doing this for first time...I await further instructions..
 
This is a leap of faith, but it's for a good cause and we'll know more next year.

Hoping we get more info after we register(?) at a minimum, where & when (?)
 
I registered under sports car....IDK...Typically, replica's don't do well in car shows, but, whatever.

I'm not sure what you are expecting me to tell you outside of what is on the event website. Per the website:

When: April 7
Time: 10am
Where: Family Arena St Charles
What: The organization assists families of children with cancer.
Other notes from the organizer: The event will be covered by Fox 2 and News 4, there will be local celebrities there. The kids sometimes request rides in cars they like, you could be selected by a "Superstar" to ride in your "Supercar", thus the name. The children with cancer will be welcomed and brought to the site with a red carpet welcome.

This is all I know, nothing special..

We can meet at the nearby Mobil on the Run at Upper Bottom Road and 364 at 9:30am that morning and roll in as a club, or, if you want to meet for breakfast somewhere, we could do that...makes me no difference.

Yep, read it, good stuff...had a basic knowledge, now confirmed, thanks. See you on Saturday and we can firm up our game plans then.. 9am Cracker Barrel...Snakes and Eggs...

Rich was kinda interested when we talked this weekend.
Weather App is now reporting 50% chance of rain Sunday, but it will probably change.

That's right...Rich was going to get his car last week! Rich, any pics or updates for us?? :rolleyes::D
 
Something fun to watch Sunday...the VIP Superstars will be starting at STL Motorcars and each will be riding to the event with a member of the ND4SPD exotic car club. Will arrive around 10:30am and be dropped off on the "red carpet". What a special treat for the kids!!
 
How’s Sunday weather looking?...rain is a possibility... maybe not... fingers crossed
 
I'm sure the forecast for Sunday will get updated but currently it looks like things get questionable around noon?
 
i've been following the WeatherChannel forecasts for this week and it went from 40% to 50% to now 90% chance of rain Sunday.
Daily forecast is reporting "Scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then mainly cloudy during the afternoon with thunderstorms likely.
Still anyone's guess.

SATURDAY looks like a good day for a Cruise though! 73* and only 10% chance.
