That little clunk or chink when pulling your utility tractor with your lawn tractor and you just take off and the lynch pin is a little loose? Or pulling a bigger trailer with your truck or tractor and the slack is just taken up in the trailer hitch?

Well, Tuesday evening on the way home from work the Cobra was making such a noise during gear changes. This is the sort of noise that it is wise NOT to ignore! I will not drive her until I have found the source. It could be a loose wheel. Or a loose driveshaft. Or a sloppy CV joint. Or could be something more sinister like a loose flywheel (Did I put loctite on those bolts?)

Anyway I should be getting my new engine very soon (Lumpy has it completed and dyno'ed) and it will take about a month to swap engines (because of the other things I plan on doing with the engine out.) So I might be done for the year.
A great year overall with no damage and no failures and no tow trucks!
