Winter Prep

Club, I've started to think about winter prep (hibernation) for the cobra. Any suggestions /actions / purchases?

Too early….trickle charger for sure…. Heck we have driven in Jan-Feb on that unusual weather day…

I put my battery on a trickle charger and do an oil change in the Spring.

Other than filing the gas tank, and changing the oil, I do nothing. No battery I own has EVER seen a trickle charger. I respect my batteries

Winter is build season, so time to fix modify anything that has caught you eye. I'm redoing the wiring for my Guage cluster to fix some issues I've had with the 27 pin connector. Going to give is a thorough cleaning front to back a d maybe work in the side pipe issue again. Always something to do.

Build a list of things that HAVE to be fixed vs things you WANT to fix or modify. Once you get through the NEED list, work on the WANT list. Otherwise, you will spin your wheels and not be back on the road in April. Helps you focus.

Good advice. My list isn't anywhere that big and no I won't be pulling the engine to change the oil.
