I have not gotten a response from Gateway, anyone have first hand knowledge of the current test-and-tune situation?
Wide Open Wednesdays was the response to the street racing stories on the TV news. Did they totally do away with Tuesday and Thursday night test-and-tune? (All test-and-tune combined into Wednesday nights).
What happened to the helmet rule? When they reopened, the new policy was: "Every driver wears a helmet no matter what the ET". Has this policy been changed or removed to attract the street racers?
Also, what are the Wednesday night crowds like? Big or small? Demographic like it was before? Or a demographic like the crowd on Hall Street?

I've not been there on Wednesday nights for quite some time, so don't know what kind of crowd shows up. However, from their facebook page, it appears it's a mix as they have the older drag guys running the 1/4 mile and the ricers running a drift course in the parking lot.
No matter what the ET, I think it smart to wear a helmet. They typically run Wednesday, Thursday and Friday's as far as I know. This weekend, the Fun Ford event is there, so the schedule may be different.
