After I stripped all of the goodies from the donor Mustang frontend frame, I don't know how (or where) to dispose of the leftover iron. Smaller stuff, I tossed in the trash (springs / shocks) but this thing is about 4' across and about +30lbs.

I thought about posting it on CraigsList, but figured I was wasting my time.
Any ideas?

I was warned a long time ago, that tossing it in a store's dumpster could get you a severe fine if you got caught.

Sorry, I live in the county, not the country (no junkyards nearby). :D

I take my stuff to the St Peters recycling center North on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. They charge you by the weight.

I cut up my entire frame and took it to a recycler. I made $47.00:) but I didn't have the frame anymore. They cut easily with a sawzaw. I was told by the recycler, that if it does not look like a car, they don't need a title. So I was able to keep the original title for the car.

keep that tittle

You may need for mo highway patrol yesterday went up to hanable with freind on his 23 t bucket these guys are nice never had to take it off the trailer. Advsed owner to hand carry papers to jeff city - they more or less implied the people up there are slow if you mail it and if they have questions it maybe a 3 week time to get it done. This way you can wait on it. They then send tag back to inspection station for them to put on.

cut it up and throw it in the trash, scrap is only 5 cents a pound but if your into recycling metal then go to southern scrap off broadway you have to go to the scale then to the place they point you then back to the office and get enough for a 2x4 of stag:Dor give your ticket to someone there that looks like they need a bath:Dthats the dumpster divers.if i had a job going on with a construction dumpster you could of thrown it in there, but no work right now...............good luck Leo
