What happened?

I'm here, been sacked on the couch yesterday and today.
I was nursing a hangover yesterday morning (my own fault, but New Years Eve was a lot of FUN!
)
After I started feeling better, I went out to the garage to mount my sidepipes on the roadster to see if they were straight and even (besides, I've been dying to see them on). Driver's side completed and looked good. I was mounting the passenger side and installing the last bolt. I was sitting on the floor and turned to grab the bolt and felt a pain shoot up my back! Hurt like a SOB and I couldn't stand up straight. I walked into the house bent over in pain and clutching the door jambs for support.
Pulled a muscle in my lower back. Ouch.
Taking muscle relaxers and applying cold-packs.
Feels better today.
Btw, I've been back out to the garage 3 times to look at my installed sidepipes and show them to my wife!!
She said I'm nuts. I can barely walk but asked her to walk out to the garage to look at them.
yep, I'm a car guy.

Starting to feel better. I'm just bummed I can't finish up the transmission and get the garage cleaned up (my wife hasn't started to complain about me taking up the whole garage, YET)

I have been on vacation and not checking the site much. Will be putting the car in storage next week until winter is over. New front brakes to be installed in March and maybe a few other mods coming. Going to be a busy Spring/Summer at work.

Actually thinking of driving it to work tomorrow and Friday as the temps are looking good!

I'm still here. Working on my to-do list and some parts for "Buddy" when I broke my lathe. Parts on order but everything came to a screeching halt.
Hesitate to tear into other things till some of the first things get done. Right now I have the dash out, wiring torn apart, throttle linkage removed, fuel system down and anti-freeze drained. Part strewn everywhere
Sure would be nice to get her out. Guess I'll just have to sit in it and go Vroom-Vroom
