After two years of campaigns and ads...

It's over. Thank goodness.

Just listening to a great concession speech by Sen. McCain.

Will be interesting to see how the markets react tomorrow. They closed up today over 300 points.

C'mon Scott, one more post and you're over 1,000!:D Yep, glad the commercials will be over with and the pressure of my first ever vote for a President, albeit the losing one, is over. Talk to you tomorrow in the 'changed' world?!?.

Just woke up this morning ..........................

to the news. I believe either candidate is an improvement over what we have had unfortunately. :( I think Bush did more to hurt the republican party then any republican has for a long time. In 8 yrs he destroyed all the good vibes that Ronnie built up for the republicans in his tenure. What a shame. We went from one of the best republican Presidents we've ever had to one of the worst in a very short time. Bush did more to "lose" the election for John McCain then anything Mack did.

Do you realize that this is the first President in 24 years who's last name isn't Bush or Clinton? Wow huh.

My .02

I think in the future we'll look back on this time and think what a raw deal and disservice the people of this country have given Bush. Do I agree with everything he's done, NO. But he's also the first president to deal with an attack on America in almost 60 years. Many people contributed to much of the problems we face from both parties and their constant fighting and layed it on Bush. IMHO they need to walk in the man's shoes before they blast away. All the pork barrel projects on both sides and the in-fighting is not what I send them to washington for, nor is it so they can pad their wallets. I hope the media and America is half as critical of Obama after the honeymoon is over as they have been of Bush and see how he handles it.

Reagan 1980-1988
Bush the First 1989-1992
Clinton the Only 1993-2000
Bush the Second 2001 -2008
20 years, Tim, although it may have seemed like an eternity (which 24 is closer to than 20)!:D

However, if you had said President or Vice-President, you could have taken it right up to 28 years!

Naja I was thinking the same thing...but knew that P/V is from Arkansas so he may be a bit mathmatically challenged ;)

But, I was thinkin' Bush senior was there with Reagan. BTW - Is Oprah's head gettin' bigger or is it me? She must be on steroids.
