I know this is last minute, but a good friend of mine that I used to race go-karts with is taking delivery of his FFR Cobra kit Saturday in Cape Girardeau MO tomorrow. I'm driving the roadster down tomorrow to help him unload and welcome him to the "club"...
If anyone would like to join me in the run I will be leaving around 8:30 AM as delivery should be around noon at his house. Anyone interested in the run.. call me 314-780-4894... about a 2 hour drive there.... if Stewart is on time... noon delivery... a couple of hours to mingle.. talk cars and then head back home mid to late afternoon...
If no one joins in I'll be posting photos and updates when I get home...
Bundle up... 35 tomorrow morning!
God I love this weather!

Well, I have no pictures. Right after I left Saturday morning, Brian tried to call me to tell me the truck was delayed and would not be there till Sunday Morning. Well.. couldn't hear the phone in the roadster so I drove all the way to Cape anyway. Had a nice visit with him, he looked my car over and I took him for a ride.. First time he had been in a Roadster.
He was very pleased with the ride and the quality and is very happy he ordered it.
It was about a 300 mile ride and hit showers a couple of times both to and from Cape.

Anyway, I glad I went...it had been years since I had seen Brian, and the roadster got to stretch it's legs! Now I have to clean it again.

Come on spring!

Like the new bodies. The seams seem much tighter now. Thanks for the update Skip.

Is Brian on this forum yet? (or on FFCars / FFF.com?) what's his name there?

I'm interested in talking to him / seeing his car, mine is scheduled for end of next month. :D

I agree on the body being much better. I hear the panel fit is much better as well. Thanks for he update Skip.

Yes Brian made the body buck..he has such a habit of going overboard on things...
He is not on this forum, at least that I am aware of, but he is on the FFRcars.com site.
He is on there as "motobones"
Feel free to check him out and welcome him.. He is a great guy.Tell him your a friend of mine. He has a lot on his plate right now and is digesting it all.. He has a well thought out build and it will be a very nice car.
I'll let him tell you about it as he starts his build.
