Welcome NAJA 65

Thanks, and yep!
Cool photo - brings back memories of that "monster" run. ;)

This year's run will be nowhere near the Missouri River Valley, but . . . hey . . . I talk too much.

Question - were there a group of GCC members running Rt. 66 a few weeks back - at least 2, maybe 3 (or more), were spotted cruisin' in St. Clair past the NG Amory on 30/47/HR66? I was gimpin' pretty bad at the time and it just made me so anxious to get back in the snake.

Mark, could have been us on the way back from Potosi. Keith, this pic was taken in front of the hardware store picking up some hardware for SOMEbody's fan. :D

Search for Potosi Run in the Our Cruises section.

Mark - SCOF

I love that picture.

SCOF - is the super secret Superformance Owner Group. In fact I may even get in trouble for talking about it. So don't ask me about it again - SCOF - they're everywhere!:eek:

OMG - somebody is knocking on my door now -

Steve Fehr and Karl S. (Phoenix) are Superformance owners.

They we're on that cruise.

Steve is hardcore - he's awesome. He has over 12K miles on his car - that is less than a year old. Steve was at our very first meeting. Steve was the one that came to the meeting in the rainstorm a couple of months ago.

Karl - has been at almost every meeting to date. Karl wins the Iron Butt award for 2008. On the route 66 cruise he and Steve and other SCOFers had to stop Joplin because Karl broke a shock. He was able to fit a shock from an auto parts store on his car - but it provided no actual "absorbing". Sorry - I don't know anything - the shock was either completely extended - or completely compacted.

Anyway - Karl drove all the way back home feeling every bump 100%.
Way to go Karl - glad you made it back ok - how's the car?

That is right in front of the R&R Ace Hardware store in St. Clair. They are world famous for stocking a complete set of spare parts for all original and replica Cobras. You did find what you needed, yes?
Matt and I were just down the road at the Casey's gassing up. Not in NAJA, though. Don't know if this was the same day or not. The Cobras we saw were on the street in the background heading in the direction of left to right in the photo

SCOF
Superformance Cobras of Florida???

Super Cars On Fire

Some Cobras Out Flying

Or is it more sinister than that?? Like CCCP was really USSR???

Maybe it really stands for the ssSOG - super secret Superformance Owners Group!
