• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Welcome Mark Meyerhoff

Another cobra is about to be born, this time in Foristell. Received membership of Mark Meyerhoff who has just purchased a Factory Five Mk IV w/IRS and a lot of other goodies. Comes with a Blueprint Small Block.

Mark, Logon and tell us more - Welcome to the madness

Hello everyone! I placed my MK4 Roadster order a couple weeks ago with Factory Five. Completion date is Nov 23, then Stewart will deliver it (hopefully soon) thereafter.

Here is what I have ordered from FFR...
Powder coated frame
Power steering
EFI in-tank fuel system
Front & rear Wilwood brakes
Body cutouts
IRS
Leather seats
Wind wings
Sun visors
17” Halibrand wheels and tires
Chrome driver roll bar
Vintage gauge set
Assembled side Louvers
Hydraulic clutch
Stainless steel bumpers

Other companies/suppliers
Blueprint 347 w/EFI
Gas-N sidepipes
Cobrastuff - sidepipes heat shield
Gordon Levy door panels
Rutgers Rod Shop - triple reservoir

Can’t wait to get started! Garage is ready and body buck has been built.

I have never done anything like this before but I did attend the Build school a couple weeks ago and nothing seemed too complicated. However, I’m sure I will run into a number of “challenges”.

Welcome! And yeah, there are some very knowledgeable people in the club with probably more than a dozen builds among us. Congrats on the purchase and look forward to following your build!
Tim

Welcome to the madness. If you need a car dolley, don't build one. I have one sitting around that you can use. It makes it real easy to spin the car around in the early stages. I'm currently working on an older MKIV.

Thanks for the welcome wishes and the offers of help..and Thanks for the car dolly offer. I have a separate 4 car garage and quite a bit of room... so don’t think I will need one but will definitely keep you in mind if I decide differently. Hope it is delivered shortly after FFR completion date...

Welcome Mark. Good luck and let us know if you need some help. Also good luck with the EFI
