• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Welcome aseweepay

Welcome to the GCC! Tell us a bit about yourself. I know from the FFC forum, you are looking to get your car next year.?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the "welcome"...I am on the road traveling and will try and touch base when I get a moment. From what I have seen and heard, it looks like a great group to get involved with....

Ken,

Unfortunately, this group is well guarded with our comments until your check clears. After that all I can say is IF you heard we are a good group, you have been listening to either the wrong people or the very well paid endorsements. Either way, welcome. Glad to have you as part of the group.

Good one kid

Ken,

Now that thars funny I don't care who you are! :D:p

Hey guys,

Finally have a minute, thanks for all the welcomes. To give you the quick rundown about
myself...I have been a car nut for as long as I can remember. I have always been a fan of Cobra's, and have found myself to be partial to the Factory Five Cobras and Superformance (also really like their GT40 recreation...sweeeet) although there are a lot of other nice ones out there that I don't know enough about.

I travel for a living and am usually gone anywhere from a week to three weeks at a time, so although I am always interested, I can't always make it to club events. I am lucky enough to own two of my dream cars, an '83 Ferrari 308QV and a 1960 Austin Healey 3000. My wife and I belong to the Ferrari club and the Austin Healey clubs here in St.Louis, although we usually get together for drives with the Lotus and MG clubs (the Ferrari club doesn't get together much and when they do I am usually out of town, the Healey club gets together more often, but when they do I am....you guessed it.....out of town). As far as other addictive hobbies, I also really enjoy motorcycles (I no longer have one, but I have a friend who lets me borrow one of his BMWs) and am really into antique airplanes (basically anything that has two wings, open cockpit, round engine that belches smoke, makes a lot of noise and throws grease.) I guess you could say, "if it has an engine, makes noise and belches smoke etc....I am addicted to it."

I guess that is about it in a nutshell, I look forward to getting together with you guys in the near future.

Ken

Again, welcome. I look forward to meeting you. The 308 is one of my all time favorite cars.
