• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

wanted to say thanks

Wanted to say hello and thanks to everyone! Went to Hallett last weekend and got to meet some of the gang from gateway cobra club. I must have asked the poor guy's a million questions! Thanks to everyone I got a chance to talk to, looks like it's going to be between the Lone star, factory five, and Mc Gill hot rods cobra. Any advice welcome! For those who don't know Mc gille is half of the old B&B it's Berry.

thanks Kevin

Nice to meet you Kevin. It was a great weekend.

Just my .02 - but between the choices you offered- I'd say Factory Five. It's a very complete package. Most members here have built a F5R, and they have a very extensive knowledge base. There are all sorts of incantations of these cars right here in the club.

thanks Mark, that's the direction I will probably go. Tim said it best you can run down to napa auto parts and get the parts you need. Just need advice on how to make the car fit:D.

Kevin

Kevin, welcome. I think the support you get from FFr and the builders are second to none. The difference in looks may be important to some, but to me the the rate of completion and numbers built tell the success of the Factory Five cars. Have you checked out the forum, http://www.ffcars.com/ ? The builder knowledge base is huge, have a problem, someone will know how to help. Yes I'm prejudice, I'm working on my 3 rd.

I have an LAExotic...forerunner of the B&B. Barry has helped me out a number of times..all B&B specs are the same as the LAE as Barry and his dad were the original LAE. Could not ask for better customer service...Barry would stop what he was doing to come to the phone to answer my petty questions. He built me a set of 1-3/4 headers to fit my new engine build and they fit perfectly. They are just a short way from the Gateway...you might want to visit thier shop.
