Uh Oh Here We Go Again

Yep, I'm supposed to go to KC Tuesday, think I will stay home. Darn the luck

Hey Timbo ya could still go if ya want. I'll lend ya my snowshoes. :D BTW Possible major power outages with this one. This one is supposed to be nasty.

Glad I'm behind on burnin' my firewood this year....looks like I may need it this week...yukk! May go out and git some more while the gittin's good!! :D

Good thing I got the car out today for a bit. Great day today. Big fun.

They said the forecast will be a combination of the ice storm of '06, and the blizzard of '82.

I always wait and see - come from the show me state - remember a weatherman ( or women ) can be wrong many times and still keep their job. And its not like its the 1st time for us.

Know how you feel MArk. I got the car out yesterday too. Man I needed that. It was running real rough though. Hoping it was just the gas. It was running great the last time I ran it though. I could do without more snow and simply get on into spring.

So two cars out, and I didn't have a thing to do and didn't get invited to ride along? WTH!?

I feel ya Tim. My invite got lost too.:p I took all 4 of my rides out today. Man it felt to get up over 120mph again. :D The forecasters are sayin this storm could be a doozy. I think they might be over-hypin it so they don't get flack for under predictin.

Mine was just tooling around my area. I thought about giving you a call and going out to Omer's, but the car started acting up. I need to start it more often in the winter and put Staybil in the tank. It ran like a dream on the FCR and before in late Nov, Dec timeframe, so I don't know what was happening. At some point I need to actually put those new brakes on. :) Dave, i hope they are over hyping the weather. I remember the 1982 snow and it wasn't fun even for an 18 yr old. Now it's just going to suck. Plus I hate ice except when I pour Crown over it.

Now that thar's funny. I don't care who you are.

Yeah, I vaguely remember the big one in 82. Ter & I were living at Holiday Shores near Edw. on the back side of the lake out in the middle of nowhere. Got 18 inches & couldn't go anywhere.

Started my generator to test it this morning just in case. 60 amp, I can just about run my whole house on it if need be. Let's hope I don't need it.

Raining hard here in St. Chuck. Some freezing on everything but the roads at this point.

I don't have a generator, but I have some firewood and blankets.
Mom is staying with my sister. I just hope we don't lose power. The snow I can outlast. I may have to eat steak for 2 of my three meals, but I won't starve. :) Now If I can just talk my wife into sharing the blanket, I'm set! Working from home tomorrow, so I don't even have to get out in it. I see why you like this setup Tim.

Dan, moved your post out of Keiths Build area to here. Yeah, I work from home when not busy 90% of the time. Don't have to deal with traffic at all :D

I stopped on the way home and got some emergency supplies....three cases of beer and a bag of charcoal!!!!:D:D Have about a cord of firewood left so let er rip!! Got a call from Keith Craft Performance on Friday and my engine is finished. They are waiting on their valve covers before shipping. Won't hurt my feelings if they take a while with this wonderful weather we are having. Everybody be careful out there !!!

Mike
