I also agree but it is still Gateway's money. We were suppose to get $3000 this year for advertising but they backed out on that. Clois and I are already $1,000s of dollars in the hole. At the end of the day I am a racer not a waxer. I go to R&G for track time. We need all of your ideas to grow in a different direction because that isn't my specialty.

Dean - I (and I'm sure WE) had no idea that RNG was set-up like this. As you can tell from the action the last day or so - we are a pretty excitable bunch. IMHO - this is where a club can do it's BEST work.
We can listen as well as type. We can volunteer as well as lead. We have no shortage of ideas, and the mental horsepower to back it up. I am so very proud of this group. Doctors, lawyers, architechs, rocket scientists, engineers, managers, advertising specialists - we are a pretty good group to have on your side.
So, since we are all so verbose on this topic - I would like to suggest that we assemble a working group to meet with you and Clois to "reset" and grow RNG for 2009. Losing personal money on a huge event is not acceptable - IMHO. It may be too late to make wholesale changes for this year - be we as a group can certainly learn a few things - and "reset" for next year.
We want to help.
